This research focuses on using natural language processing text mining approaches to make knowledge induction from the patent corpus within 6G satellite communication technologies. The domain ontology, that describes transdisciplinary features of taxonomy, is derived and organized in a hierarchical schema. trends innovation distributions ontology are further analyzed discover R&D requirements. technology process discovers advanced infrastructure its hardware/software integration enabler for seamless high-speed network connectivity land, sea, sky. Seven main parts “6G communication” schema taxonomy text-mined relevant patents literature. 2357 (all with highly nature) collected analyzed. During macro-analyses, trend inventions, leading assignees, distribution categories depicted. micro-analyses innovations technological themes, function matrix showing hot-spots cold-spots, most critical sub-technologys’ lifecycle maturities. ultra-goal this potentials communication-related technologies through smart techniques, especially those requiring R&D. Finally, strategic plan technical-savvy countries (e.g., Taiwan focusing semiconductor IT design manufacturing sectors) presented, highlighting necessary efforts mobile telecommunication industry.
